Auditions for upcoming show presented by the Passion Players Community Theatre at the Traco Theater in downtown Toms River. All ages seven and up for children shows performed by and for children. This venue is a great opportunity for children to participate in live theater to an audience of seventy seats. From novice to experienced all children are welcome to audition for these fun filled childrens shows.
Also all adults can partake in auditions as well for Musicals, Plays, Drama’s, Talent Shows & Open Mic. If this is your first time auditioning or are a seasoned pro you will enjoy the whole experience. Taking in a movie with this caliber of talent at a quaint independent film theater is that much more enjoyable. We would like to thank all who attended the two sold out shows of The Rocky Horror Picture show on February 25. It didn’t take long for the Rocky Horror phenomenon to take form in downtown Toms River. This long time favorite of cult movies was sold out for its 10:00 showing in a matter of days; with the phone still ringing for tickets a midnight showing was added and sold out as well. Participation bags were available for purchase and were used throughout the show while audience members recite lines memorized from countless other viewings of the show. Pair that with some racey outfits and you have all the makings of a great show.
It was nice to see the streets of downtown Toms River filled with cars and bustling with activity at 10:00 in the evening. Local retail shops benefitted from this as well with sales of goods to dressed up movie goers filtering out into the streets. The Cookie Cab, sister company to the Traco Theater was open prior to and after the movies for dessert featuring tempting Rocky Horror Cookies as well as a full assortment of other baked goods.

For all you fanatics out there the world famous cult classic the Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to the Traco Theater in Toms River on February 25. Future shows are tentatively scheduled for the last Saturday of the month. Doors open at 9:30PM and show begins at 10:00PM. Gift Certificates will be awarded to the best costume which should make for an interesting night in downtown Toms River. This is the first showing of this movie at the theater and hope to have more showings monthly as long as rules of the house are followed. This is a limited participation venue and is not the only movie being shown at the theater, so your cooperation is requested for the benefit of all to be able to see future shows. Under no circumstance shall anything be thrown at the screen. or projecter. Use of any water, toast or hot dogs is prohibited in the theater, prop bags will be on sale prior to the show.
